Under general supervision a Department of Public Service Seasonal Employee assists with maintenance and repair of water, storm and sanitary sewer systems, streets, curbs, sidewalks and public grounds.  He or she may also perform unskilled and semi-skilled labor tasks, utilize hand and power tools and perform other related duties as assigned.  The City will be accepting applications through March 31.  If interested plaease contact Anne Farley at or 614.559.4200.

Communications Editor (PT - Contract)

We're Looking for a Bexley Blast Content Editor to Join Our Team

Here at the Bexley Blast we love our job of compiling community events and city information in a quickly consumable format for any residents who are interested, and we're looking for a qualified individual to help us out.  Our ideal candidate would assist for approximately 5-10 hours per week as an independent contractor on creating the Blast, and also helping to cross-populate content to social media and the City's website.  This position would require a weekly planning meeting and a weekly content creation meeting, and would also involve additional social media and web content creation from time to time.  If you have a background in writing and communications, and a strong knowledge of social media, email marketing systems, basic web CMS and HTML skills, we'd love to hear from you.  We'll be accepting applications through March 3rd.  Please email resumes and relevant writing and work samples to Debbie Maynard at
