Notice: Traffic Pattern Change at Cassady and Denver

Based on a review of traffic conditions at Cassady and Denver, the City's Service Department has worked in conjunction with the City's contracted traffic engineer to change the configuration at the intersection of Cassady and Denver.

The new condition is a 3-way stop involving Cassady and Denver to the west of Cassady.  Denver to the east of Cassady now yields to oncoming traffic on Cassady.  This new configuration streamlines what was a "dog-leg" intersection with several blind spots.  Please pay attention to the new traffic pattern.  Users who routinely travel westbound on Denver in order to turn south on Cassady Avenue may wish to use an alternate route during peak times.

A diagram of the changed intersection is below.
