Alum Creek Trail - Wolfe Park/Academy Park Bridge Closed

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department (CRPD) has closed the Academy Park bridge that connects the Wolfe Park trail with the Academy Park trail.  This is a restoration of the bridge that is scheduled to take at least 5 months.  Access to the trail has been closed on the east side of Alum Creek at the entrance from Park Drive as well as just on the south side of the Broad Street underpass.  Access to the trail on the west side of Alum Creek is closed right at the bridge entrance.

CRPD has posted two detour routes with one using Nelson Road and one using Park Drive.  Below is a detour map which is also on their website at http://parks.columbus.gov/TrailAlerts.aspx.
