The Bexley 4th of July Celebration takes place on July 4th involving a 5K race (presented by Bexley Automotive) and parade in the morning, a community gathering with food and activities in the afternoon, and fireworks at night! Be sure to join the Bexley Recreation & Parks Department and the Bexley Celebrations Association throughout the day!

Welcome to the Bexley Recreation and Parks Department, where our mission is to enhance the quality of life for Bexley residents by providing recreational programs and leisure opportunities, well-maintained parks, and strengthening our community foundation through special events, while delivering services in a safe and fiscally responsible manner.
The David H. Madison Community Pool is set to open for the Summer on Saturday, May 23rdat 11:00am. The pool is open to Bexley Residents and their guests. Residents can purchase memberships or a daily admission pass. With amazing amenities such as a zero depth entry leisure pool with a play structure, an 8-lane competition pool, a diving well, two (2) water slides, a toddler pool and a splash pad, the community pool provides hours upon hours of fun in the sun for all ages.

In 2011, the Alum Creek Corridor Committe (ACCC) was created with a mission to create an accessible, interactive, and protected Alum Creek corridor along the length of Bexley's creekside in collaboration with community stakeholders and other jurisdictions. One of the initial goals that came out of the ACCC was the creation of a park along Alum Creek from Main Street to Livingston.
In addition to the programming offerings that we provide, the Bexley Recreation and Parks Department (BRPD) takes great pride in our ability to offer employment opportunities to our community. Year round we are looking for employees to help run our wide varity of programs including positions as sports officials, score keepers, and program site supervisors.
