The Alum Creek Park Athletic Field - Draft Design will be presented at a public meeting on Wednesday, December 7th at 6pm at Bexley City Hall. The draft design (see below), developed by Mark A. Schieber Associates, LLC, was based off the Alum Creek Park Plan developed through a public process by the firm MKSK in 2014. As we are nearing the final stages of the planning process before ground breaks, we continue to look to the community for feedback so that we can develop the park that best meets the needs of our residents.
At the public meeting on December 7th, residents will have the opportunity to review the draft design and provide as we work to finalize the design and more forward with the project. Please spread the word to neighbors, friends, and family about the public meeting as this design should reflect the needs and wants of the community.
The Recreation and Parks Department will also hold a separate open house on Saturday, December 17th from 9-10am inside a heated tent on the field next to the Community Garden just north of Ferndale and Mayfield. Doughnuts and coffee will be provided. Residents will have the opportunity to review the draft design and provide any feedback/suggestions.
