As we continue to improve and expand upon our amazing summer camp offerings, the Bexley Recreation and Park’s Summer Camp Program has made some positive changes for the upcoming 2010 summer.

Thanks to your feedback, starting this summer all Bexley Recreation Summer Camps will fall under the umbrella of the Jeffrey Summer Camp Program. This will include:

• Playcamp (4 & 5 Year Olds; No older than entering Kindergarden)
• Camp Jeffrey Woods (Entering 1st grade - Entering 3rd grade)
• Camp Jeffrey Park (Entering 4th grade - Entering 7th grade)
• Camp Field Trip (Entering 7th grade - Entering 9th grade) *NEW*

The summer camp formally known as Jeffrey Summer Camp has been split into two camps, Camp Jeffrey Woods (1st–3rd grade), and Camp Jeffrey Park (4th–7th grade). The structure will remain the same, but splitting the camp will allow us to program more specifically to the age of the campers and decrease the number of kids in one physical location. Playcamp, Camp Jeffrey Woods, and Camp Jeffrey Park will still operate out of the Jeffrey Park Grounds, just in three different locations. All of our camp programs allow for weekly sign-up. Staff for all camps is certified in CPR and First Aid.
