The Bexley Recreation and Parks Department is excited to once again present School's Off – Camp's On (SOCO). School's Off – Camp's On is back for a third year to fill a community need as well as offer fun and exciting activities for children grades kindergarten through 6th.
Throughout the school year there are a number of days in which school is closed (i.e. Rosh Hashanah, Teacher In Service, Good Friday, President’s Day, etc.) but parents still have to go to work. This can put a lot of stress on the parents to make arrangements for their kids on those days. School's Off – Camp's On provides day care for parents that are working on weekdays that school is out as well as a fun program for kids who may not need the daycare, but are looking for something exciting to do to fill their day off.
As always, this program was designed to be flexible and convenient for the needs of you the parent. You can sign up for the individual days that you need or you can sign up for all dates at a discounted rate. The camp day runs from 7am to 6pm to meet the wide range of work schedules. In addition to the individual days, we are offering week long coverage for the two weeks of Winter Break and the week of Spring Break. Registration is NOT available online. Registration will be held at Jeffrey Mansion on Tuesday, July 12, Thursday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 19 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. (SPOTS ARE LIMITED)
*Please Note: If your child attended the Jeffrey Summer Camp Program this past summer or is registered to attend the 2016/17 School Before/After Care Program, then you can check a box on the registration form giving us permission to use your child's JSCP forms (Medical Form, Permission Slip/Photo Release Form, & Dismissal Form) for SOCO. You will still need to fill out the Registration Form and Payment Form.
